IG Group supports Multibank. The Multibank is a UK charity focused on collecting surplus essential items, like bedding, baby products, and hygiene items, from businesses and redistributing them to families in need.

Multibank is all about tackling poverty while reducing waste, and it works with a network of local charities and care providers to make sure these items get to the right people.

We donate a variety of essential household items, including cleaning products, tableware, and glassware. We also encourage our key supply partners to contribute regularly, ensuring ongoing support for those in need.

 

Community Impact – Local

Daft as a brush logo

 

Daft as a Brush Cancer Patient Care provides free, volunteer-run transport for cancer patients to and from treatment, covering areas like North Yorkshire and Newcastle. Funded by donations, an won The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2016.

The charity is entirely donation-funded and was awarded The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2016 for its impact.

 

Hospitality Action logo Walk for Wellbeing is an annual initiative by Hospitality Action that promotes mental and physical health within the hospitality industry while raising funds to support industry workers facing challenges such as mental health issues, financial difficulties, and family problems.

Participants can join hosted 20km walks in cities across the UK or choose their own routes and distances during a specified period. Since its inception in 2020,

 the event has engaged thousands of hospitality professionals and raised over £200,000 for the charity.

Members of staff took part in the 10K wellness walk. Over one hundred amazing people gathered to walk along the North East coastline to raise awareness of the importance of mental health and wellbeing in hospitality and help fund the work of Hospitality Action.
